I identify as a linguist performing philosophy.

I do semantics – mostly of attitude reports and plurality – based on natural language typology and online studies. I am soon going to defend my thesis on memory reports at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany. At Masaryk University in Brno, Czechia, I study the morpho-semantics of adverbial quantifiers (like ‘always’) cross-linguistically. The two topics are not as unrelated as you may think: How we linguistically represent parts and pluralities of events influences which attitudes towards them we attribute (because compositionality).
I also have a background in analytic philosophy and a tiny bit in psychology. I enjoy interdisciplinary communication and cooperation, and “even” the conceptual clarification it requires. I value political applications of my work and think a lot about grounding assumptions, methodology and epistemology.
